“So what would you like to discuss?” Diane Disney asked.

“Well,” Olin began, “throughout most of my career I’ve been researching and writing books about secret paths and urban legends and I was hoping that since you were one of the world’s greatest person’s daughter, I’d figure you may know a thing or two about some of the things perhaps you’re dad might have told you before he…you know?”

“Well, as much as I can remember, I know of the apartment in the Firehouse Department, the Dream Suite that my dad didn’t get to see finished, and of course there is Club 33.”

“Yes, yes. Those are good examples, but I was thinking of something deeper, something more that makes this place more magical, say like a ‘secret world where Disney characters go to?”

By the time Olin asked, they’ve reached to the Snow White Wishing Well, just as he planned it. One of the henchmen hid himself inside the well with the large bag while the other one stood in the shadows watching Olin and Diane coming by.

“Secret world? There could never be a ‘secret world.’” said Diane, “All the characters often or rarely seen remain in Disneyland. Besides, if my dad really did have a secret world where his characters would go to, he would’ve told me and the rest of my family that before he died.”

“Which is exactly I what I want to know from you.” Olin said pulling out a gun and pointed at Diane. “Now!”

“What?” she gasped.

The henchmen stared at each other from a short distance and hearing the command Olin had given, they jumped out from their hiding spots. One of them held Diane by the arms tightly while the other bagged, not Diane, but Olin!

“Run! Run away!” whispered the first henchman, hoping Olin wouldn’t have heard him.

He let go of Diane and she took off in a sprint. Olin struggled and freed himself from the bag. He slapped both of the henchmen with great force.

“Not me, her!” Olin shouted, “You idiots! I’ll get her myself! You stay here.”

Olin took off after Diane who wasn’t really getting far in speed. She had an early accident by a fall. No one really knows what happened perhaps except for her husband, Ron Miller. But that entirely aside, Diane headed back towards Main Street U.S.A. with Olin on her tail unnoticed. People watched her running, constantly panting. A good many of them wanted to help her, but she kept declining and lied that she was exercising under doctor’s orders. Out of breath, she made it to the Firehouse Department. Olin found her there still in hiding and snuck himself backstage where the firehouse and the Jungle Cruise in Adventureland parts. Towards the back, a few Cast Members recognized Mrs. Miller and they allowed her in the gates that blocked the guests from the firehouse apartment. Behind the gates there was a stairway that led upstairs into the apartment. It’s not often used by anyone other than maintenance coming in with the key to get the place cleaned up. Of course Diane had a key. She’s kept since Disneyland first opened in 1955. With her injured tired legs holding her back a little, she carefully lifted herself up the stairs to the door. Making it to the top, Diane checked around to see if anyone or Olin had followed her backstage. So far, there was no one. She took out her key, opened the door and went inside the apartment.

Everything she found in there was just as how she remembered it. The theme of the room was Victorian Era, which was Walt and Lillian Disney’s choice. The colors were white and cranberry red, a lot of the antique furniture, little teacups and small plates were held in place. It was Walt’s place in the park to be at whenever he wanted to watch the activity in the park, do some quiet work alone, and spend time with his family and invited friends. Diane can remember the days when her father was still alive they would have tea, have conversations, and have Walt’s grandchildren come in and hang out with him and their grandmother, Lilly. Those days were too good to pass; too good to miss.

Diane locked the door behind her and took a seat on one of the chairs that faced the Eternal Light of Walt Disney, the lamp that never turns off. Looking at everything in the apartment, she can feel her father standing close to her. In fact, it feels a little too real to be felt. When suddenly, Olin stepped up behind her and quickly covered a cloth over her mouth infecting her with ‘sleeping gas’ sort of chemical. She struggled to get free and tried to figure out how Olin got into the apartment without a key, but the chemical became too overbearing for her and fell right to sleep. Olin took out some rope and banded her wrists, her arms, and her ankles and he put duct tape over her mouth with a blindfold over her eyes.

“Hey, do you copy?” Olin called through his radio.

“Yeah, we both copy.” said one of the henchmen.

“I’ve got Diane. Meet me in the trees of the Jungle Cruise stat!”

“Yes sir.”

Olin put the radio back in his pocket; he picked up Diane, and exited the apartment with door locked shut. No one was around, so it was safe for him to duck into the jungle. It didn’t take long for the henchmen to arrive and join up with their boss.

“Open the bag.” Olin commanded.

The henchmen opened the big bag wide enough for them to put Diane inside while she’s not moving.

“There, now maybe we can finally get some answers.” said Olin.

“Uh sir?” the second henchman spoke, “Suppose she doesn’t, what would you do to her then?”

“Hmm…I’ll probably do one of the things I’ve always wanted to do to the Disney family for so long. Maybe…cremate her like her old daddy.” Olin chuckled, “Let’s get out of here.”

Olin carried Diane in the bag over his shoulder with the henchmen following behind him. They both tilted their eyes to each other in a side-glance. This was getting too far, they thought to themselves, and that’s the truth.

************************************************************************

Just arriving back at the castle, Rachel and Terrance trotted off towards the stables to drop off the horse. Terrance got off first and then he helped Rachel off. Trying to think in an appropriate manner, gripping Rachel’s waist almost brought a little joy onto the boy. His arms tingled up to his nerves up his spine. He couldn’t stop looking at those beautiful light brown eyes that belonged to the princess he loved so dear. Lowering her to the ground brought nothing out of him but a smile. Rachel couldn’t help but smile back at him. She could tell there was something warm going on inside him. But then the sound of Terrance’s horse neighing stole her attention.

“Can I help putting your horse back in the stable?” Rachel asked, “I’ve learned to do it in equine therapy.”

“Oh, sure princess.” said Terrance, “You know how to take off the halter?”

“Yeah, I know how. Can I brush him, too?”

“Sure, but I’ve got to wash him first. He’s probably sweating from the trip to the mansion and back.”

“Aw man, I always got grossed out when I see their sweat wash out. I didn’t even know they’d sweat until then.”

“Yeah, it is pretty sick, huh? You can hold him while I wash him off.”

“Okay.”

Rachel and Terrance brought the horse to a lonely showerhead with a faucet and a hose connected to it. She held the rope that was clipped together with the halter while Terrance brought the hose and a scraper to scrape off the sweat. He turned it on and poured the water all over the horse’s back. Then he took the scraper and brushed off the sweat onto the ground. Of course, Rachel got grossed out with a mix of laughter. Terrance himself did get a little sick feeling in his stomach watching the sweat drip into a puddle. But then, he looked at Rachel again still giggling over the sickness of sweaty foam. Her constant giggling was music to his ears. Her smile, in his perspective, grew big and set itself to its greatest perfection. Forget the horse, I want her now, he thought to himself. He slowly kept scraping the sweat not noticing anything else going on.

“Uh, Terrance?” Rachel spoke.

“Yes princess?” said Terrance.

“You might want to look down.” she giggled.

“Wha- oh no, no, no!” Terrance looked down and found that he scraped some of the horse’s sweat on his shoes.

Rachel hollered in laughter. Next to meeting the Genie a few days ago, this was the funniest thing she’s ever saw happen. It was so funny she was almost losing her balance. Still laughing, she rested herself on one of the horse’s posts. Terrance washed off the sweat from his shoes and the puddle with the hose until he couldn’t see another drop of it anywhere. He spotted Rachel in her tittering continuum on the post and then looked at the hose with an evil grin. Something was on his mind and it was just plain imaginative yet despicable.

With his fingers pressing onto the handle of the hose, he squirted Rachel on the back with its cold water. Rachel stiffly strikes a frozen pose at the temperature. It was so cold! Terrance turned off the water and held the hose close. Rachel, still stiff, turned around and looked at Terrance in a shocking expression. What became Terrance’s smile suddenly disappeared. They just looked at each other in silence for a few seconds.

“Rachel?” Terrance spoke softly.

“Oh, it is on, bro!” Rachel grinned maniacally.

“Uh-oh.”

Rachel grabbed the hose from Terrance then started squirting him with cold water. It was payback time! Terrance tried running away, but no matter where he tried to escape to he would always get wet. Finally, he went up to Rachel, grabbed the hose back, and started squirting her back! There was screaming of joy, laughter, and fun…even from the horse. Rachel and Terrance were soaked to the bone; their clothes, their hair, everywhere! They shifted the direction of the water upward causing it to rain over them like a fountain. Terrance looked at her again and noticed something more about her beauty. Even when wet, she looked beautiful. Her fun-hungry attitude and her sense of humor enlightened him even more. Had his cape still been dry, he would’ve wrapped her with it and gotten her dried up not leaving a single drop on her. Maybe if he were a little lucky, Rachel would’ve noticed something romantic. Terrance looked at her again in her sweet lovely brown eyes. They sparkled in sunlight and in water that fell on her cheeks and flesh. Whether in sunlight or moonlight, she means the world to him!

“Come princess, let’s get you ready for tonight.” Terrance said.

“Okay…” she whispered.

They walk up the stairs leaving a trail of water behind them. The doors opened and right front of them were three magic brooms from Fantasia with towels! They were made with a wooden rod, scrawny arms and yellow bristles for their feet. They normally work for Master Yen Sid, but they sometimes come to the Disney World castle when they’ve nothing else to do in the sorcerer’s tower. It seemed that they must’ve watched the two kids play with the water and hose outside. The brooms handed Rachel and Terrance the towels and bowed to the princess.

“Aw, you’re all too kind.” Rachel blushed.

“Thank you for the towels.” said Terrance, “Do you think you can put my horse back in the stable?”

The brooms nodded and ran off to the horse. The two humans watched the brooms do their work as they were commanded. One broom rinsed off the rest of the sweat that was one the horse, the second one got a brush and brushed the horse’s fur, while the last one brought the horse back to its pen. No longer seeing the brooms after they got the job done, the princess and Terrance walked inside castle hoping they wouldn’t leave a trail for anyone to slip onto.

She glanced at the crown that sat on Walt’s throne and then her own throne and thought to herself for a spell. To think she’s going to rule the Disney kingdom of magic and imagination side by side with Walt Disney! The Walt Disney! It’s probably been something everyone’s always dreamed to be. There have been dreams, however, where Rachel would find herself with Walt and worried so much about what he could care so much or not about her given the fact that Walt never really liked handling other people’s personal problems; especially when it had came down to dealing with Olin. Now they’re about to fight this war together. How much more amazing can that be?

“It’s going to be nice having Walt rule the kingdom again.” said Rachel.

“This time with you.” said Terrance.

“Yeah, but I’m still not fully entitled to all of this yet. For now, it’s only Walt.”

“When are you ever going to think more positively about yourself? You keep saying you’re nothing more than anything, but you are! Why are you being so harsh on yourself?”

“I don’t know. I guess since Olin first captured me and brought to his headquarters, I’ve been feeling a little lower then anyone else.”

“Well, you’re not. You’re perfect the way you are!”

“Terrance, nobody’s perfect and neither are we.”

“Well, sure no one’s perfect. I’m just saying that one can never be lower than anyone in the world and neither can you.”

“Then what does that make Olin?” she asked.

“Olin’s just mean.” Terrance answered, “That’s all there is to him.”

“I wish I knew why Olin had to be so mean to everyone like that including people who don’t posses magic. I mean, he already told me: the whole jealousy thing between him and Yen Sid and how Olin killed Yen Sid’s wife and daughter. But I’m suspecting there is more than what both he and Yen Sid are telling me. In a way, I’m kind of hoping to see Olin again just to get some answers.”

“So you want to get more answers from him and then die?”

“I didn’t say that last part. If I was able to escape him at the headquarters that time, I can escape him any day at any time. But being new at this, I got lucky that day. But anytime I’d come face to face to him again right now would probably result to witnessing a living nightmare.”

“Ha ha, you’re starting to sound a lot like my master.”

“You could still learn a thing or two about him.”

“I think I’ve gotten almost a lifetime’s worth of experience.”

“Almost?” Rachel giggled.

“You know what I mean.” Terrance smirked, “Now, let’s head up to your bedroom and choose your outfit. I’ve asked a couple princesses today on what they decided to wear.”

“What did they say?”

“They thought they might do a free-for-all night.”

“So I can just go all casual?”

“You could, but out of respect for the newest princess, I figured you could go in actually looking like a princess.”

“Isn’t being a princess at heart enough to mean something than all the fancy clothing and power?” Rachel asked.

“…Yes, yes it is.” said Terrance.

That was probably the most beautiful and the most worth-valuing sentence Terrance had ever heard from her. Of course that’s what means, he cried in his mind. That’s one of the things being a princess is what’s all about! He wanted to kiss her for saying that. So pure, very heartwarming! If only he had knew his own mother or father and had heard this from either one of them about a girl.

“You’ve spoken like a real princess.” Terrance smiled, “You’re going to go real far in life. I know you are.”

“Thanks.” said Rachel, “…Terrance?”

“Hmm?”

Rachel hugged him and said, “I’m glad you’re here with me. I don’t know what I’d do without you.”

“I would never try to imagine you not being here with me. Everything’s perfect here. So perfect.”

“Terrance? Are you feeling any different?”

“Hmm? Oh no, I’m fine. Same as always.” Rachel walked up to elevator that led to her bedroom with Terrance behind her once again talking in his mind, “But not for much longer. Soon, you will know the truth, you will be princess of the Disney Worlds, and you will be with me forever…my queen.”

“Did you say anything?” she asked.

“Nope.”

“Hmm…”

Rachel pressed the button for the top floor. When the door opened, they both stepped inside and rode the elevator all the way up. Arriving there at last, Rachel jumped onto her bed; she likes it when she feels the comfort of it after not being in it for a long time. That’s one of the things Terrance would find ‘cute’ about her.

“Princess, “Terrance spoke wishing he would’ve also called her ‘sweet’, “There will be plenty of time to cuddle in your cushions, but right now we need to prepare you for tonight.”

“Aw, can’t we talk while we’re in bed?” she moaned, “Or at least ‘on’ the bed?”

“Silly girl. Anything fluffy and puff makes you happy, doesn’t it?”

She nodded and yawned, “And tired.”

“No, not now, Rachel. You’ve still got a group of princesses to greet in a few hours.”

“Just a little nap? I always get tired around two o’clock. Thirty minutes?”

“Well, it has been a big day. Okay, thirty minutes. In the meantime, I’ll make some sketches of some outfits you can wear for tonight.”

Rachel smiled and then slept. Her clothes turned from the white shirt, dark gray loose jacket and blue jeans back into the long silver nightdress. As always, whether or not Terrance would see her a million times in that nightdress, she looked stunning. In addition to that, she slept soundly and peacefully she almost glowed in white light and it wasn’t even nighttime yet. Not even Sleeping Beauty could top that mainly because Rachel was his sleeping beauty.

It had only been ten minutes already since the princess began to sleep. Terrance was going through some shoes Rachel could wear for the Princess Social tonight. He found a pair she would like; now it was up to decide on what dress and what accessory should go with it. Meanwhile, Rachel, who was still asleep, was almost in the urge to toss and turn softly, not rapidly. Then, without opening her eyes, she stood up out of bed and began leaning onto the bedpost. Her head bobbed down and her voice grunted and moaned a few words softly and quietly.

“Sp-irit…good spirit…” Rachel grunted. Terrance turned around when he heard his princess speak only to see her in the position she is making now. “Where…are…you…?”

She must be thinking about the white spirit from her dreams, the dreams Terrance had given to her, the dreams that had given her all the love and happiness he had offered her and she accepted, the dreams that had made her spread her arms out, take wing, and soar through cosmic spaces that were ultimately limitless! In the dreams, Terrance disguised himself as a being covered in pure light hoping Rachel would believe he’d be some sort of supernatural being who was kind, benevolent, and gentle like an angel. He had not told her of his identity; instead he recited a riddle in the form of a love poem. A poem made with words from his heart.

Terrance walked to Rachel, he held her by her shoulders, and softly spoke in the voice of the white being, “What wretched troubles disturb you from your peaceful slumber, O beautiful queen of mine?”

“I’ve…been in need of your company, good spirit.” said Rachel, “Will you…stay with me? Will you…take me away…with you?”

Terrance felt her head press onto his chest. The blood that was flowing in her mind warmed the young boy’s heart. He wrapped his arms around the beloved girl; he kissed her all over her face but her lips, he caressed her and her body, and he wrapped her in his cape that was now dry like they were being mutating together into one.

“I will do you better, my Rachel.” said Terrance, the white being, “You may not have solved my poetic riddle yet, but that should never mean that you could ever part from me. In my highest hopes as your mortal lover, you will love me as I have always loved you, you will marry me in future’s time, and you will be with me forever. And when we do, I will make you the happiest women the world will ever see and I will give you everything. The Disney Worlds know you as their ‘princess,’ but you are undeniably nothing more than my beloved queen and goddess whom my heart and its love will worship for all eternity. I love you for you, your beauty, your kind and compassionate heart, your brave and courageous instincts, and your young yet wise knowledge of yourself and your people.”

“I’ve grown…impatient…all day to know of…your true self.” said Rachel, “Please tell me…who you are.”

“All in good time, my love. Solve my riddling poem and I will reveal myself to you. Come, dance with me. Step in time with the flowing and gracing waltz where even sleep can never hold you back.”

Rachel moved her arms in their possessing dancing positions; one hand over Terrance’s shoulder and the other to his left hand. He pulled and swayed and twirled her all over the bedroom like there was nothing around them as if they really were in space or somewhere better. By their focus of things, there was nothing that could possibly part them away from each other from Rachel’s sleep dancing…nothing. Rachel lifted her hand to Terrance’s cheek and felt him. His face was as soft and smooth like a stone covered with peach fuzz. So far, this dance was taking longer than expected.

“Oh no…” Rachel murmured.

“What bothers you, dearest?” asked Terrance still portraying as the white being.

“I was supposed only sleep…for thirty minutes. I’ve lost track of time right now.”

Terrance looked at the clock. The dance had gone on for not thirty minutes, but almost three hours! The sun was setting and they only have two more hours to get the girl ready for the Princess Social. Terrance was beginning to freak out a little, but Terrance didn’t bother with the timing for he realized he was actually willing to take his time. He took his time with the woman he wishes to love and be with for the rest of his life.

“Please…” Rachel continued, “return me to my bed and tell me to wake up. My friends are waiting for me.”

Terrance felt her cheek once more and spoke, “As you wish, my love, my beautiful goddess. Arise now. Open your beautiful eyes and look into the eyes of the people you love and care about you. Remember to solve the riddle. Do this, and your life will be filled with more and joy and happiness.”

He carried the princess back to her bed and shook her shoulder a bit, not so harshly. And then he kissed her beautiful brown-haired head. He went back to the wardrobe to decide what clothes she could change into and awaited for Rachel’s rising from her resting slumber.

The princess slowly opened her eyes and looked at the clock. It was 5:03 p.m. She quickly glanced at Terrance, got out of bed and ran to him for an apology hug.

“Oh Terrance, I’m so sorry!” Rachel cried, “I got so sidetracked in my mind I couldn’t resist my dreams. Please forgive me.”

Terrance turned to the princess with a smile and said, “It’s alright, my princess. We all make mistakes. I’ve drawn some sketches of outfits you can try changing your nightdress into on for tonight. Come, pick your favorite.”

Rachel lifted up to her feet pulling Terrance up with her. He showed her the sketches of gowns and casual styles he thought she would like. They were all so lovely she almost couldn’t choose. Finally, she chose a loose flowing light cream-colored cotton silk gown with a golden crest designed to hold her blue sapphire necklace inside. With all the concentration it required, Rachel converted her silver nightdress in the dress she had chosen. Gazing at her, Terrance felt like he was about to faint again like he had done the other day.

“Shall we?” asked Terrance holding his hand out for hers.

She took his hand and they both entered the elevator together for the Princess Social. This was going to be a long magical night not just for Rachel, but for Terrance as well.

*******************************************************************************************

“Hmm…” Yen Sid hummed.

Yen Sid was looking at Rachel and Terrance through his magic mirror during his free time with Walt and Mickey. Walt and Mickey were getting some invitations ready for Rachel's coronation within two days.

“You two should come and have a look at Ms. Rachel here.” said Yen Sid.

Walt and Mickey stood up from their chairs and joined Yen Sid to watch the view.

Walt whistled aloud and said, “Golly, did Terrance do a number on her or what?”

“Wow! She looks beautiful like a real princess!” Mickey exclaimed. “I can’t believe I would never have thought of a gown like that I could imagine Minnie wearing.”

“The boy has some taste.” said Yen Sid, “One of his prior specialties.”

“He gets that from you ‘daddy.’” Walt teased.

“Have your fun. I don’t mind.”

“Gosh Walt,” Mickey spoke, “I’m so happy you’re back. I really missed you.”

“As much as you’ve been saying that to me two dozen times, I missed you, too.” said Walt. “Hmm…”

“I know of that look.” Yen Sid spoke, “What are you thinking?”

“I’ve got a bad feeling about something here.” Walt replied.

“Why?” Mickey asked, “What could go wrong with Rachel meeting all of the princesses the company made? This was probably something Rachel would have dreamed of doing throughout some of her fantasies.”

“You know how I feel these sort of things.” Walt continued, “Whenever something’s going A-Okay, I get a bad feeling something’s going to turn down and whenever something bad happens, I’m never afraid to face it. Maybe tonight is not the night of when some trouble would come, but I feel like it’s going to be real soon.”

“What do you suppose of thinking concerning the coronation?” Yen Sid asked Walt.

“…I would say to be on the safe side, we should double the guard in case anything goes wrong. We’ll still invite the Disney villains and every other character over, but we really need to keep an eye out suppose something happens.”

Suddenly, Walt and Yen Sid heard a thud from behind them. They turned around and found Mickey on the floor spilling all of the invitation for the coronation. Walt chuckled and took a step to help him, but his shoe became untied and he tripped in front of Mickey!

He looked up to the mouse and said, “This is why we are so alike.”

Mickey laughed.
Okay, THIS is a problem that Diane Disney now has to be involved in! You guys better hope and pray she'll be alright in the story. I've been thinking about the whole scene with Rachel and Terrance being together for the past few days. I thought it sounded good. Plus, I figured I would end this chapter with a little humor after all the drama and romance and whatnot. I'll bet you're all thinking about why I haven't been putting in much more of the Disney characters and the Moon spirit. Sorry about that. I'm going to try to put more of all that in chapter twenty five. Hope you enjoyed the chapter. I'll do my best to post the next one up soon. Happy Reading! Reading

It has almost been a year since Diane Disney had died due to an early accident from a fall onto her leg. She was born on December 18, 1933 and was the only biological daughter of Walter E. Disney and Lillian M. Bounds. She alongside with her adopted sister, Sharon Mae Disney were the inspirations for their father to build the Disneyland theme park we all know and love today. In 2003, Diane opened the Walt Disney Music Hall, which they had their 10th anniversary last year, and then began construction and opened the Walt Disney Family Museum in 2009. She died on November 19, 2013, a day after Mickey Mouse's 85th birthday. Diane is survived by her husband Ronald Miller, her seven children, thirteen grandchildren, and her great grandchild. She will be terribly missed and forever remembered for her tireless efforts of continuing her father legacy and her love towards her family, her friends, and her fans. R.I.P. Diane Marie Disney.

I forgot to comment what I thought about one of your other chapters. When Walt said he had a feeling something bad was going to happen.

All was missing was. I feel a disturbance in the force, and I remember when Terrance called Mickey and Yen Sid. Yoda and Obi Wan. It's funny I kind of thought of Mickey like Yoda in Kingdom hearts. :D
