“Terrance! Terrance!” called out a voice of a duck. He wore a blue sailor suit and, has white feathers and an orange beak and legs.

Terrance was walking through the hallways in search of Rachel, his angel to be. He had to leave the rose behind so it wouldn’t get messed up with before the Princess Social. Oh, how desperate he was for the moment to come. Soon, he would finally confess his love for the princess he dreamed to be with for the rest of his life like a fairytale in motion. But at a moment where he was about to have another daydream he had t be interrupted by a duck carrying around a fishing pole and a basket of fish.

“Donald?” said Terrance, “What’s up?”

“We have to hurry! This is urgent!” Donald Duck cried.

“What’s urgent? What’s going on?”

“Mickey’s unconscious! He’s so pale and he won’t wake up!”

“What? Why?”

“I don’t know. I only heard he was with Master Yen Sid and when they came back Mickey was out cold! Come on, he have to hurry!”

“Oh my God!” Terrance exclaimed. “I hope he’s alright.”

********************************************************************************************************

“Uh, of course we want to know!” Hercules yelled, “This is a serious matter and Mickey’s the victim of that serious matter!”

“Is he alright?” Aladdin asked.

“Please tell me he’s not dead.” Peter Pan pleaded.

“Alright, everyone calm down.” said Yen Sid, “No, Mickey is most certainly not dead and yes, he is fine. He got frightened at something or perhaps someone in the Gracey Manor and fainted. Probably a ghost.”

“I can’t I blame him for being scared of a ghost in there.” said Rachel, “I’m guessing we’re probably going to have to reschedule my magic session, huh?”

Yen Sid looked at Mickey, then back to Rachel and said, “Actually Rachel, this the perfect time to start our session.”

“Huh?”

“Rachel, do you by any chance know how to heal?” he asked.

“I’ve healed my own wounds and scratches, but I don’t think I’ve ever healed anyone who’s been petrified.”

“Come hither, then. This will be my first lesson in magic: how to heal an unconscious body.”

“Okay, sure.” she said, “How hard can that be?”

“For any average sorcerer, it would take a lot of time to practice, but since silver spirits like yourself have a better understanding in mending a soul for a variety of reasons I’m sure this should be a cinch for you.”

“Alright, so what do I do? Do I give him a potion or wave a magic wand or something?”

“You haven’t done this often, haven’t you?” Yen Sid raised his eyebrow in confused way.

“Probably not. I’ve always waited for the moonlight to heal me in time, have the Sun rise, turn my hair back to brown, and feel more refreshed. That’s really all I know.”

Suddenly, the door swung open very quickly. Donald Duck and Terrance ran inside out of breath yet and reached Rachel, Yen Sid and everyone else. Terrance, happy to see Rachel, said, “We heard the news. Is Mickey alright?”

“He’ll be fine so long as Rachel receives full concentration on her healing training.” Said Yen Sid.

“Yeesh, I knew Mickey was out but I didn’t think it would this bad.” said Donald.

“Wait, Rachel’s healing him?” Terrance asked.

“It’s part of my magic session, Terrance.” said Rachel.

“This I’d like to see.” he smiled.

“Master,” Hercules started, “would you mind if the three of us- or all of us stay here for Rachel’s encouragement?”

“If it were my decision, I think I would mind." said Yen Sid, "But since this is a lesson for Rachel…”

“I don’t mind, guys.” said Rachel. “Just let me know if I get too freaked out and I’ll try to calm down.”

“Gotcha.” Aladdin beamed with a smile and a thumbs up.

“Are you ready, Rachel?” Yen Sid asked the princess.

“Yeah, I’m ready.” she said.

“Rachel,” Terrance began, “Don’t get upset if you don’t get it right. It took me a while to study and work with magic healing to get it right.”

“Thanks, Terrance. So, where do I start?”

“Just put your palm on Mickey’s forehead first.” Yen Sid answered.

Rachel placed her hand onto Mickey’s forehead just as the sorcerer told her to do and took a deep breath. This sort of experience is unlike any of the healing jobs she’s ever done before. In her mind, she was happy and excited to be learning from a master.

“Okay, now what?” Rachel asked.

Yen Sid takes out a green gem and says, “This green quartz should help Mickey heal his entire body and regain his consciousness. I want you to concentrate on its aura and transfer it to Mickey’s soul”

“How am I supposed to do that?”

“Inhaling and exhaling your breath is most common for sorcerers alike. Some try mouthing a few certain incantations to speed the process or make it affect more. But the more highly advance sorcerers can sometimes think of things most people do not often witness. What those things in mind are, I’m afraid I do not know…many sorcerers in that rank often use that as a sort of technique of focus and inner peace.”

Rachel scoffed, “If there’s anything I’ve got problems with, it’s focus.”

“Who tells you that?” Terrance asked.

“Well, my parents, my sisters-”

“Who cares what they think, Rachel?” Terrance interrupted, “I think you can do whatever you can do with all you’ve got.”

“Again, thanks. So which one should I do?”

“I suggest you do the breathing to begin with.” Yen Sid answered, “Plus, the fact that Mickey is in desperate need of care, it would be unnecessary nor would it give us enough time to perform the other extractions.”

“Is there a certain pattern of breathing to help make it flow?” she asked.

“Not exactly. You can breath in just about any way you like. Just don’t forget to concentrate on its aura and don’t think of anything else or it would become more difficult to handle the process.”

“Okay.”

Rachel took the green quartz and pressed her palm firmly Mickey’s forehead. She closed her eyes and began to breath slowly. The aura from the green quartz was indeed getting stronger as Rachel gripping it tighter. Rachel can definitely feel the flow of the aura from the crystal, through her arms, up the neck to her mind, and back through her other arm to Mickey’s head. She found it pretty unbelievable that her focus was actually doing something right for once. Or maybe it was just all in her head. It was best not to think about during the process, though, since Yen Sid said that it would get any easier if she thought of anything. One thing that Yen Sid was definitely right about was that performing this sort of healing, one was to feel both focus and inner peace. She had focus and so far the inner peace was about to sink into her like she was falling asleep. But Rachel maintained her part continued to heal.

Mickey’s color was beginning to return to normal. His legs twitched a little, his fingers quivered vigorously, his eyelids tightened and almost gave away tears, and suddenly-

“Aaaaa-aaaahhh!” Mickey opened his eyes and screamed in terror. He quickly crawled to the farthest corner of his bed away from everyone, buried his face in his arms like a real mouse would do when they cower, and cried.

Everyone looked at one another. It’s unlikely to see Mickey Mouse like this. Most times people see him as his happy, cheerful, and mischievous personality. Seeing him sad, scared, or angry (with the exception of him being on stage shows or cartoons) is very rare. Rachel stood up, crawled onto the bed and went for Mickey. Perhaps he needs a hug. She reached out her arm and tried to touch his shoulder and just as she did, Mickey instantly snatched her wrist and took fast breaths.

“Mickey! It’s okay.” said Rachel. “You’re alright now.”

Mickey looked at Rachel like a scared puppy and whimpered. He looked into Rachel’s eyes and began to calm down a little. But it didn’t stop him from crying some more. He hugged Rachel around her waist tightly and buried his face again in her stomach. Rachel felt both enlightenment and sorrow for Mickey’s fear and crying onto her. She hugged Mickey tightly in great and soft embrace. She stroked the tiny black fur on his head and then one of his ears. Stuff like this, especially when it involves one of her favorite cartoon characters, often makes her feel tempted to shed a tear herself. She looked up and saw a smiling elder sorcerer in front of her.

“How did I do?” asked Rachel.

“You did fine, Rachel.” said Yen Sid, “It’s not often for someone to cast a healing spell so perfectly on their very first attempt.”

“Thanks.” Rachel grinned.

Terrance walked to Rachel and placed his hand on her shoulder. Watching a woman he loved so dear casting spells and perform magic for good reasons had sparked a warm feeling inside him, but Rachel doesn’t know that. He then looked at Mickey and knelt down in front of him.

“Mickey, what happened in the mansion?” Terrance asked.

Mickey, still trembling and shedding tears, looked up at everyone and then to Rachel and Terrance and said, “He’s back. He’s been hiding from us all this time!”

“He?’ ‘He’ who?” Rachel asked.

“Mickey!” shouted another girl voice from behind the crowd. Minnie ran inside with the water and towels and hugged Mickey tightly and kissed him. “Oh Mickey, I was so worried! Are you alright?”

Mickey couldn’t say another word. He was still scared at the past event he couldn’t focus on anyone or even his own girlfriend! Minnie trembled at the look on Mickey’s face. In all of her life she’s never seen Mickey like this.

“Mickey, answer me! What’s wrong?” Minnie yelled.

“Uh, Minnie.” Terrance began, “I think you should let Mickey get some more rest and have some peace alone.”

“No, let her stay with him.” Rachel finished. Terrance looked at her with Mickey still in her and Minnie’s cradling. “He needs her.” Terrance continued looking Rachel sincerely and then nodded as she said, “The rest of us though can decide for themselves if they still want to stay or leave.”

“I’ll stay here, too.” said Hercules, “Just in case something bad happens.”

“I’m going to go back to the gardens.” said Aladdin, “I still need to find a flower for Jasmine.”

“I might go get cleaned up.” said Peter Pan, “I still got some of that black stuff on my arm.”

“Hold on. What black stuff?” Terrance asked suspiciously.

“Peter, give me your arm.” Yen Sid ordered. Peter reached out the arm that had the black stuff to the old sorcerer. Indeed, there was some black stuff that was oozing around that almost reached Peter’s wrist. Yen Sid took a small blob of it onto his fingertips and studied it carefully. It was definitely sticky and it almost alive. Yen Sid made an angry expression on his face and looked up to Peter.

“Peter, was anyone else with you when you got this?” Yen Sid asked.

“Uh well, it was me, Al, Herc, and…” Peter didn’t finish.

“And?”

“…Rachel.”

“Rachel?” Yen Sid yelled, “All four of you outside! Now!”

Rachel looked at Aladdin, Peter and Hercules with a little worry and discomfort. She carefully placed Mickey back to bed for Minnie to take care of and walked out the door with everyone with Yen Sid and the three.

Yen Sid, on the other hand, was not happy at all. He marched the four friends down the stairs and into the throne room. He made them line up in a single file facing him in his angry tone. Some of their shoulder shrugged up with their hands behind their backs and looked at the sorcerer directly, one gulped silently, and the fourth dragged his foot around. Each one of them was in their guiltiest attire and staring up at Yen Sid.

“Do any of you know where this black blob came from?” Yen Sid growled holding up the blobbed fingertips at them.

No one said a word until Rachel said, “It could be oil from someone’s car.”

“Oh, it’s oil from someone’s car? Well that’s humorous because this looks like a certain specimen that would’ve come from a place where no one was ever aloud to go to…like the Black Wall!” Yen Sid shouted. “I want to know what happened.”

Everyone stood quiet again hoping that this would end soon. Rachel then stepped up and said, “Look, we were flying around in the clouds and I decided we should do a race. We raced to this one cloud and well…we just sort accidentally arrived at the Black Wall.”

Then Peter stepped forward and said, “And I wanted to see what it was it like inside. So… I reached my arm into the wall and out and-”

“You what?” Yen Sid shouted. “You deliberately placed your flesh into the wall?”

“I got it out, didn’t I?

“Gah! I have told every one of you several times to stay away from the Black Wall and you all disobeyed me!”

“Hey, we wanted to leave,” Aladdin outbursted, “but Peter-”

“I am not in the mood to point fingers at one out of an entire group!” Yen Sid growled through his teeth, “You all should of left the wall before something could have happened.”

“Well, to be frank,” Hercules started, “something did happen.”

“Oh? And what was that?” Yen Sid crossed his arms. “I would delightfully like to hear what happened.”

“Well, we were leaving the wall after Peter took out his arm and decided to not be around there when we heard this sort or roar.”

“Roar?”

“Yeah,” Hercules continued, “it turned out that when Peter put his arm in the wall, it…”

“It took form into a dark Peter Pan.” Rachel finished.

“And I suppose the Dark Peter is roaming around the kingdom causing havoc wherever he goes?” Yen Sid leaned forward with his eyebrow raised up.

“Nope.” Rachel went on, “The bad news was that we had to merge Peter with that thing because the Dark Peter stole the real Peter Pan’s shadow and used it as a shield to get around in the light. The good news is that when we got Peter’s shadow back, the Dark Peter cried out and it instantly flew all the way back the Black Wall and never came back out. So there’s a happy ending to that, right?”

“Not in the way I flip the page." Yen Sis said and then sighed, "More than anything, I am grateful that you all made it back safely; especially you, Rachel. And since you all have given me a sort of clue about how the Black Wall reacts to certain things, I will let you all off this time with a warning. However, I would like to speak with Rachel alone so if you three wouldn’t mind…”

“Yes, sir.” said Hercules, “Thank you, sir.”

“We’ll see you later, Rachel?” Peter asked.

“Yeah,” she said, “and maybe could go over Neverland sometime, too.”

“I’ll be looking forward to that! Just don’t forget about it.”

“Ha ha! Good one! I really had a great time with you guys.” Rachel laughed.

“See you later!” said Aladdin, “I’ll tell Jasmine you’ll be at the social tonight.”

“I’ll be there!” she said.

Aladdin, Peter Pan, and Hercules left Rachel and Yen Sid in the throne room while the two of them just stood there in the middle of the room. She waved at the three as they disappeared behind the door to the hallways.

“I can never get enough out of those three.” said Rachel, “They’re so fun to be around with.”

Yen Sid then looked at Rachel in a nearly gloom yet sincere look. He placed his hand on her shoulder and said, “Rachel, come with me for a moment.”

He held out his hand to her and she slowly took it. Again, she felt the familiar feeling in her hand from his only this time she herself almost felt faint with a headache.

“Are you alright?” Yen Sid asked.

“I-I’m fine.” said Rachel, “My head’s just hurting a bit. What did you want to do again?”

“I wish to tell you some things while we walk, but I don’t want you to tell another soul about it.”

“Seriously Sid, how am I to rule a good kingdom if all the stuff I’m going to hear is something secretive?”

“It does not have to do with the Disney Worlds. It has to do with you in general.”

“Oh…okay.”

Yen Sid’s free hand began to glow white in an instant. He raised it and slammed the light into the ground and they both disappeared in the spot. That light glow was a transportation spell!

Terrance, Hercules, Minnie and Donald Duck sat there waiting for Mickey to wake up. Seeing what Mickey saw in the Gracey Manor did a number of things to him, but thanks to Rachel’s healing lesson he’s been doing a lot better than before. Still, that doesn’t mean Mickey was looking any better. He was still a little pale and he was still trembling a bit. Minnie made sure she dipped an entire small towel, squeezed it, wrapped it up, and place it onto Mickey’s forehead. Donald just sat there on a small stool chair in hopes that his mousy friend would return to his senses. Hercules stood at the door in case of any friends wanted to see him or intruders wanting to do harm whatever else they want to do. Terrance sat on the bed next to Mickey seeing if he is able to read his thoughts while he is asleep. He thought perhaps he could see what Mickey saw in the mansion earlier today. With all the concentration he’s got, he traveled deep into Mickey’s mind and found himself in a dream the mouse is having.

A pitch-black darkness clouded him in a small room with no doors or windows around him. Suddenly, the room stretched far in the form of a hallway with stone head busts floating around no matter which direction Terrance turned to. He started running down the hallway ignoring the head busts into another room. He heard the door lock behind him and continued on to another small room. He was surrounded but draped curtains, torchlights, and a mirror. But then he saw Mickey standing there, frozen in horror, staring at a dark being in front of him. It almost looked like the Grim Reaper only it had a mask instead of a face that somewhat resembled ‘the Scream’ painting. He lifted his arm and took off his mask revealing his eyes and opened mouth with fire! Mickey screamed and cowered away from the revelation dark fiery being. Terrance too, recognized the being’s face and had hoped he wouldn’t have had to see the face this way.

He woke up out of the insanity that trailed in Mickey’s mind with fast breaths. He began to realize what Mickey had to go through. Wishing in a way he had never jumped into Mickey’s dream, he was also glad he found out what was going on.

“What happened?” Minnie asked Terrance. “What’s wrong with my Mickey Mouse.”

“He’ll be alright once he wakes up.” said Terrance, “He’s just having a nightmare.”

“No, really?” Donald said passively. “I thought he was frolicking in a patch of poison ivy and falling in a ditch.”

“That’s enough, Donald!” Minnie yelled, “You know this is serious!”

“Alright, alright. No need to get exasperated.”

Terrance just sat there on the bed and tried to think of something else. So far, the only thing that comes to mind is Rachel. With a little magic, he conjured a little light blue dusted version of the girl about five inches high. Being such a large size, Terrance only had his fingertips to play with the little blue Rachel. He took the tiny hand and she curtseyed for a dance. She danced on the palm of Terrance’s hand and he twirled the little Rachel in circles until she accidentally dropped. He lifted her to her feet, kissed her hand and she blushed all pink and disappeared. Terrance had the dreamy look on his face up until he looked at everyone else. Minnie, Donald, and Hercules looked at Terrance like he was acting weird or something.

“It’s nothing important.” said Terrance.

“Kissy, kissy!” Donald played while holding a fish, “Someone’s on lo-ove!”

Terrance smirked and, with magic left on his fingertips, made the fish from the basket slap Donald on the face and heard ‘quack’ screamed out of him. He lifted off the left and treaded to the door.

“Give me update of what happens to Mickey.” Terrance ordered.

He left the room, down the stairs and returned to his bedroom. The white-blue edged rose lay on his desk sitting on a soft pillow. It looks even better than when he left it alone like how he feels for Rachel whenever he sees her. He can imagine her feeling all over him after plotting into bed. His angel would sleep beside him and cuddle in his arms all day and night. How he wished she were with him now. Sometimes he would scream her name in his mind and run to her…like in his childhood.

********************************************************************************************************

It was around the time, on a cloudy day, where Rodney first came into business with Disney on Rachel’s sixth birthday before Terrance had to return to Yen Sid for something and was followed by Rodney through the magic mirror hallway. He can remember walking through Main Street U.S.A. by the time there were enough people to hide through and not be noticed by anyone else. Terrance was about to go see the Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln show as a homework assignment Yen Sid gave him until he saw…her.

A family of six came in through the main entrance, under the train station and into Main Street by City Hall. Two parents stood side by side, a little Rodney walking by one of the parents (the mother), two sisters stood together while the third sister walked beside the father. Terrance’s eyes sparkled at the sight of the third sister by the father.

Her brown silky hair swayed with the soft breeze, her eyes glistened when she first saw the Sleeping Beauty Castle all the way far up yet so close from Main Street, her sweet baby cheeks could be awed and adored from miles away, and her smile would make the gloomy storm clouds go away and make the Sun come out. A sight to behold, she was. Never in Terrance’s young life would he feel much happier seeing a girl he became so fond of at first sight. He had to get a closer look. But what about the Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, he thought. It can wait; it’s not going anywhere and that’s one thing Walt Disney would want to stay in the park. Besides that, there were too many people to squeeze through and watch the show.

Terrance begins to follow the little girl into the Emporium and found her running around filled with joy and excitement at the sight of the twinkling of plastic toys, the cuddliness of the stuffed dolls, the never ending bonding of graphic t-shirts worn by the guests and Cast Members around her, and the fantastical atmosphere of the store from top to bottom! The smiles and giggles on her face were contagious enough to put a smile on Terrance’s face. But all at once, the girl’s mother who was holding a bag found her, dragged her out of the Emporium, and took her to the nearest restroom. Perhaps she has to do her own thing, Terrance thought. He hoped she wasn’t in trouble. What could such a sweet child like her do to cause havoc over one, two or more certain things? He waited outside in hiding waiting for the girl to come out. When she came back out she looked a little different. The smiles were all the same, but her clothes weren’t. In fact, she looked much better than before. She wore her hair down, white sandals, and a little Minnie Mouse dress. It was just her size; it was perfect! Terrance’s smile grew bigger at the sight. How very deeply in his heart he wanted to be with her.

Suddenly, the girl and her siblings saw Mickey’s dog, Pluto by the Kodak Photo store! They ran up to him with Terrance following behind them while still in hiding. They took their picture together, but then Pluto grabbed hold of the popcorn they were carrying around with them and ran around in a circle with the siblings chasing him! Terrance couldn’t help but laugh at the scene. Pluto was just having some fun. However, he had to return the popcorn to the kids, otherwise he’d be stealing and that’s definitely not what Mickey trained him to do.

The family continued past the Walt and Mickey statue to the castle. This was one of the highlights of the girl’s big adventure in Disneyland. They entered through the archway of the castle in Fantasyland where everyone’s hopes and dreams of their favorite characters and miscellaneous journey’s come true! Terrance loved to see the little girl’s face beaming with excitement. The family went on the King Arthur Carrousel, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, the Casey Jr. Circus Train ride, It’s a Small World, and the girl’s personal favorite, Peter Pan’s Flight. And while the little girl was riding in the Peter Pan ride with her father and one of her sisters, she could have sworn she heard someone say, “This day is for you, my dear one. I will take you anywhere you wish to be.” in her mind. It didn’t sound like her father’s voice and it certainly didn’t sound like Peter Pan talking. She couldn’t make out who was talking to her. The ride came to an end as she, her father and the sister stepped off the boat. Another boat came by to unload another guest…or in this case, Terrance.

The little girl continued on through Fantasyland into Toon Town where she and the family first met up with Minnie Mouse in her home and Goofy outside the Toon Town Gas Station. But the girl’s most favorite part was when she first got to meet Mickey Mouse in his house. Mickey was delighted to see the little girl meet him for the first time.

“Hi’ya pal!” said Mickey, “I’m so glad to finally meet you!” The girl gave Mickey a hug and he whispered, “Seriously though, your brother told me you came today. All of Disneyland’s been expecting you.” Mickey then winked at the brother and the boy smiled and winked back.

The little girl was surprised. How did Mickey know about her and her brother? She decided it didn’t matter; she was happy that she got the chance meet her all-time favorite Disney character.

After they left the house, the family had to stop at the bathroom. Terrance snuck into the bushes as the little girl trotted off a little ways from the family. She accidentally dropped a little Mickey Mouse doll her parents had bought for her earlier. When she was about to pick it up, a foot pressed her hand down to the concrete. The girl looked up and found two boys who were slightly taller than her, older, and were pretty menacing looking, for boys of course. She asked them to let go of her hand, but them wouldn’t. They grabbed the little Mickey doll and lied that it was theirs, but she didn’t believe them. She would’ve known what she had dropped if she dropped it. The little girl reached out for the doll, but one of the boys pushed her to the ground making her cry. Terrance, who was watching the sight from the bushes, became infuriated at the two boys for harming such a sweet innocent child.

The boys ran off with the Mickey doll unaware that Terrance was chasing them. At the right moment, out of the bushes Terrance jumped from a ledge and landed on top of both of the boys and landed with a thud. Everyone was shocked to see a boy jump out of nowhere and asked themselves “where did this boy come from” and “where are his parents? They need to put him on a leash!” Terrance crawled onto one of the boys, who was holding the doll. He snatched the doll from him and simultaneously socked him in the face. Then the other boy pulled Terrance away from his friend and attempted to slap him in the face, but Terrance blocked it and punched him at his cheek. Out of nowhere, security guards came and pulled Terrance away from the two boys, but Terrance broke loose from the one of the guards and ran off with the doll back to Toon Town.

He safely lost the guards, but the little girl wasn’t where he last saw her anymore. He searched everywhere in Toon Town for her until he finally found her coming out of the Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin ride. Relieved that she was safe he continued to follow her. But the little girl became lost from her family after the ride, so she took a seat on the small stone bench towards the Toon Town entrance. She was alone and she was crying in fear. So far, it was turning into the worst birthday ever. Hiding in the bushes again, Terrance went to her. He reached out to feel her soft, silky brown hair and when he did, the girl flinched. She turned around and found Terrance in the bushes and breathed fast.

“Don’t be afraid.” said Terrance in a soft voice, “I won’t hurt you like those boys did.” The little girl shivered in both fright and from the cold of the cloudy day. But before she decided to run away, Terrance returned the Mickey dolls the mean boys tried to steal. Shyly, yet thankful, she took the doll back.

The little girl asked, “Where are your parents?”

“I don’t have any. I live here in secret. No one knows I’m here except you.” Terrance held out his hand and said, “Come with me. I want to show you something no one else ever gets to see.”

The little girl was hesitant at first and she was still worried about her parents worrying over where she is, but she took his hand anyway. While no one was looking, Terrance led her through the bushes and into the green forest that had cloaked them from civilization. The boy's soft, gentle hand made the girl's hand warm. He couldn't keep his eyes off of her. After hours or following her, she was finally his for as long as possible. Terrance smiled at her, hoping it comfort her and ease her fears. It slightly worked. At least she calmed down a little. That was until the little girl felt a pinch in some parts of her body, but they didn’t feel like ordinary pinches. They felt like magic.

“Where are you taking me?” she asked.

“To my world.” Terrance answered softly.

"Why?"

"You're beautiful." he bravely admitted, "And you'll be very happy with me there. I want to give you the best birthday you've ever had. My gift to you is to be yours to command for as long as we're together. Whatever you want will be yours."

The girl stiffened, feeling awkward and embarrassed at Terrance's words. And yet, she blushed. This was a new feeling the girl was experiencing. And to be called "beautiful" like the way her parents called her by a strange boy made her happy, but she tried her best not to show it. She didn't say anything else the rest of the way.

They stopped at a hedge of two large bushes. The girl held Terrance’s hand tighter in fright. Terrance brought her closer to him and opened the bushes with a little magical force. The little girl was shocked at what she just saw Terrance do!

“You have magic!” the girl exclaimed.

“I was supposed to keep that a secret.” said Terrance, “But you're worth telling it to.”

“I have magic, too!” Terrance gasped and smiled as the girl asks, “What can you do?”

“Come inside with me and I’ll show you! Because that's where the fun and all the magic really begins.”

Terrance brings the girl, who was happy as ever to hear that Terrance is a sorcerer, through the bushes and reveals something remarkable! The little girl gasped with enthrallment at the sight. A forest of trees surrounded them and shone brilliantly in sunlight, a large hollow log, probably the size of a giant redwood sat on a pile of boulders, a small clean pond filled with small fish, and the grass and flowers were soft like silk. This was his secret playground, he told her, and he was willing to share it with her for all the time he has with her. The girl told him that she couldn’t stay forever because her family would still be looking for her.

“I promise I will help find your family by the time I bring you back.” said Terrance, “Until then, I want to ask you something.”

“Okay.”

“Would you want to be the princess while you’re here?”

“…That depends. Would you want to be my prince if I became that princess?” she asked.

Terrance smiled and said, “Of course I would.”

“Then I wish to be your princess.”

Terrance walked closer to here not keeping his eyes away from her. He was happy to hear the answer from the girl he very much admired.

“What’s your name?” Terrance asked.

“Rachel.” she answered.

“Rachel…that’s a beautiful name. Will you play with me?”

“Sure.”

Rachel and Terrance took each other’s hands and took off into Terrance’s playground. They played together, they danced together, and they got each other wet and dirty and then got cleaned again by water and magic. Terrance began to show Rachel his magic of psychic. He raised his arms, he lifted Rachel off the ground and she flew! Rachel giggled aloud, which was what Terrance wanted to hear from her. She went back to Terrance to take him up with her. Terrance concentrated himself to fly off the ground and join the little girl he calls, in secret, an angel. They twirled and swayed, and laughed ‘till they couldn’t do it anymore. Terrance lowered them back down to the ground and hugged her close and gently.

“What magic do you have, Rachel?” Terrance asked.

“I’ll tell you,” Rachel answered, “but only if you keep it a secret. It’s part of my life I can’t really let go.”

“I promise.”

“During the day, I can control water, fire, rock, and sky, then at night under the moon my hair grows long and turns silver. I can fly, I can make people feel better when they’re hurt badly, I can do anything. If it was nighttime now, it’d be easier to show you.”

Terrance firmly held Rachel's chin, aiming her eyes at his and said, “You don’t need to show me. I believe you. I can see it in you.” Terrance’s smile then turned into a frown. He brought Rachel’s hand to his cheek and said, “But for now, I can’t see it. I have to take you back to Toon Town and your family.”

“I wish I can stay. We can be together forever.”

“I know.” he sighed, “That's all I ever want...for us.” But then his finger glowed and with it he touched Rachel’s chest. “I just cast a spell on you, Rachel. That way when you leave, I’ll always know where to find you and where you can find me.”

“Thank you.” she whispered.

“Come on, let’s go.”

Terrance took Rachel by the hand and led her back to the way they came from through the same wood to the same spot where they first met. Rachel watched the bushes behind her close, sealing them away the magic paradise Terrance had brought her to. When they got back to Toon Town, they saw Rachel’s family still looking for her. Rachel was about to go forward with the Mickey Mouse doll Terrance returned, but Terrance stopped her for a second.

“You promise you’ll try to remember me and not tell anyone what you saw?” Terrance questioned.

“I’ll do my best.” said Rachel, “But what will happen if I do forget you?”

“Then the next time we meet, I will come to you, refresh you memory, and have us relive what we have done, only better. Then we can be together again forever. Now, I want you to close your eyes.”

“Why?”

“I want to give you some things. When you’re done counting to ten, you can open them but I won’t be here and you must go back to your family immediately. Will you?”

“…I don't want to, but I will for you.”

"Close your eyes..." Terrance whispered softly, as if singing some sort of lullaby love song, while fondly touching her cheek, "and remember what we've done. Close your eyes, and await for the day to become what we will someday be. Because I will be here waiting to take you away with me again to be forever mine and yours. Come back to me one day. And when the time is right, we will see each other again. Close your eyes now, and wait for me."

Rachel closed her eyes and waited what was about to happen. Terrance put something in her hands, he felt her face and said, “I love you.” And then he kissed her lips and her forehead. She smiled; she felt so enlightened as she counted to ten. At ten, her eyes opened and just as Terrance said would happen, he was gone. She looked down and in her hands was a flower. Rachel began to smell the flower when suddenly a butterfly was on her nose. She looked at the flower again and the flower petals turned into butterflies! They fluttered and flew around the giggling Rachel and then they all went away! Rachel spotted her family and ran to them. Everyone was happy to be together again; they left Toon Town while Terrance watched them leave from the bushes. The girl looked behind her hoping to catch one more glimpse of the boy who made her birthday the most wonderful yet, but she couldn't see him. Terrance was sad to see his beloved angel go, but she’ll see him again. That was his promise.

In bed, Terrance whispered, “Such a sweet girl…yes, such a sweet beautiful girl.”
Yay! It's finished! I really poured my heart out to the last part of this chapter since it's been in my head for a while. So yeah, Mickey's still unconscious, Yen Sid got angry at Rachel, Aladdin, Peter Pan and Hercules for going to the Black Wall, forgives them, and then takes Rachel who-know-where, and Terrance was thinking of an old memory. I'll get chapter nineteen done as soon as possible. I hope you liked it. Happy reading. Reading

The way Yen Sid was scolding at Rachel, Aladdin, Hercules, and Peter.... Now I know how Pluto felt when Terrance scolded him. I would have wanted to crawl away too.
